Coco mono ethanolamide (CMEA) is a non-ionic surfactant and thickening agent used in cosmetics and personal care products. It's derived from coconut oil fatty acids and monoethanolamine (MEA). 

Uses

• Foam booster: CMEA increases the foaming capacity of products like shampoos and shaving creams 
• Viscosity builder: CMEA thickens the water portion of products like body washes and lotions 
• Emulsifier: CMEA produces a stable emulsion that's less likely to separate over time 
• Emulsion stabilizer: CMEA helps stabilize the foam in products like shampoos and shaving creams 
• Gentle cleansing: CMEA can cleanse skin and hair without causing irritation, making it suitable for sensitive skin 
• Moisturizing: CMEA has mild conditioning properties that help to hydrate and soften the skin and hair 

Cetomacrogol is an emollient (moisturiser) used to treat dry skin conditions such as eczema. When applied to the skin, cetomacrogol works by providing a layer of oil on the surface of the skin, which traps water beneath it and prevents water evaporating from the skin surface.

Cetostearyl alcohol is a fatty alcohol used in many personal care products, food, and industrial applications.

• Skin and hair care: Cetostearyl alcohol is a softening agent that smooths and softens skin and hair. It's a common ingredient in hair conditioners, shampoos, lotions, and moisturizers. 
• Emulsion stabilizer: Cetostearyl alcohol helps keep the ingredients in a product from separating. It's used in water-in-oil and oil-in-water emulsions. 
• Foam booster: Cetostearyl alcohol increases the foaming capacity of a product. 
• Viscosity-increasing agent: Cetostearyl alcohol increases the thickness of liquids. 

Food 

• Flavoring agent: Cetostearyl alcohol can be used as a flavoring agent in food.
• Food decorations: Cetostearyl alcohol can be used in food decorations, such as colorful lettering on sweets or gum.
